NHS 111

NHS 111 is a service that was introduced to make it easier for you to access local NHS healthcare services. You can call 111 when you need medical help or advice but please note that in the case of a genuine medical emergency (chest pains, collapse, breathing difficulties etc.) you should still call 999.

If you think you need to attend A&E, please call NHS 111 first.

NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Calls are free from landlines and mobile phones.
